Director of Operations West London Full-Time | Office-Based £60,000 Basic + Bonus An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Director of Operations to join a fast-paced, design-led interior design studio based in the heart of West London. This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the studio, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently from concept through to completion. Working closely with designers, suppliers, contractors and leadership teams, the successful candidate will play a key role in driving operational excellence, supporting business growth and delivering an exceptional client experience across luxury residential and hospitality projects. Key Responsibilities • Overseeing studio operations and workflow management, • Managing team resources and project coordination, • Procurement and supplier management, • Budget oversight, reporting and financial planning, • Supporting client delivery and maintaining high service standards, • Contributing to operational strategy and business growth, • Light HR coordination and cross-functional collaboration, • Monitoring operational performance and implementing process improvements Candidate Requirements • Proven operations management experience within interior design, architecture, luxury property, construction, project management or a related creative industry, • Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills, • Experience managing teams and fast-paced project environments, • Commercially minded with confidence overseeing budgets and operational planning, • Excellent communication and client management skills, • High attention to detail and ability to prioritise effectively, • Minimum 5 years’ relevant industry experience preferred Studio Culture & Benefits • Based in a bright and creative studio environment in West London, • Opportunity to work on exceptional residential and hospitality projects across London, the Cotswolds and internationally, • Collaborative and social team culture with regular events and celebrations, • Fully stocked kitchen and excellent local amenities, • Early finishes on Fridays, workload permitting, • Flexible start and finish times within an 8-hour working day Additional Information • Candidates must already be based in London or within a practical daily commute to Notting Hill, • This is a full-time, office-based role and is not hybrid Please contact Gemma Creasey at Oval Deene Recruitment or apply online
