Humanities Teacher • Annual Salary: Competitive, in line with Teacher Pay Scale, • Location: Cumbria, • Job Type: Full-time, Long-term, • Start date: 13 April 2026, • 8.30 am - 3.30 pm Day-to-day of the role: • Deliver engaging and informative lessons in History and English to students at KS3 and KS4 levels; experience with KS5 is advantageous., • Utilize strong subject knowledge to enhance student learning and meet curriculum standards., • Maintain effective classroom management skills to create a conducive learning environment., • Demonstrate reliability and commitment to the educational development of students., • Serve as a good role model for students, embodying compassion, trustworthiness, politeness, and good listening skills., • Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent., • Recent relevant experience teaching History and English at KS3 and KS4 levels; KS5 experience is beneficial., • Excellent classroom practitioner with robust subject knowledge and classroom management skills., • High-quality training and support., • Opportunities to work across several schools., • Competitive rates of pay in line with the Teacher Pay Scale.
