A valid driving licence is desirable to facilitate travel between care settings and clients' homes. Responsibilities • Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support, • Support the implementation of personalised care plans tailored to individual needs, • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ quality of life, • Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals and ensure accurate documentation, • Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with health and safety regulations, • Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and their families regarding care needs and progress, • Use IT systems to update records, document care activities, and manage schedules efficiently, • Drive between care homes or clients’ residences as required to deliver home care services Qualifications • Previous experience working in a care home or home care environment is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates, • Good command of English, both spoken and written, for effective communication, • Strong IT skills for managing digital records and documentation, • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues, • Valid driving licence is preferred to support travel requirements, • Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support vulnerable individuals, • Ability to work flexibly according to shift patterns and client needs This role offers an enriching career path within the healthcare sector, providing opportunities for professional development whilst making a positive impact on people's lives.
