Role: Clinical Lead/Clinical Practice Manager Salary: £55,000 Location: Gloucester Contract: Permanent Role Overview: • Lead and manage the nursing team, providing supervision, performance management, and professional development., • Oversee safe and high-quality clinical care, including admissions, detox protocols, medication management, and treatment planning., • Ensure compliance with Controlled Drugs legislation, clinic policies, and safe storage/administration procedures., • Develop and implement clinical policies, SOPs, and local protocols (e.g., detox pathways, safeguarding, infection control)., • Drive clinical governance activities: audits, incident reporting, clinical supervision, and quality improvement., • Liaise with external stakeholders (GPs, addiction specialists, pharmacies, safeguarding teams) for integrated care., • Provide clinical cover and leadership during emergencies, complex cases, or inspections., • Ensure staff compliance with mandatory training, appraisals, and professional registration requirements., • Support workforce planning, rostering, and service continuity in collaboration with the Clinical Lead and Registered Manager., • Contribute to business continuity plans, commissioning requirements, and statutory reporting (e.g., Care Quality Commission).
