    We are an established flooring contractor specialising in the supply and installation of carpets, vinyl and wood flooring to the new-build residential market. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Flooring Estimator to join our team. The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders for new-build residential flooring projects, working closely with our clients, suppliers and internal contracts team. Key responsibilities will include: • Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation, • Carrying out accurate flooring take-offs and measurements using digital take-off software, • Preparing detailed costings for carpet, vinyl and wood flooring packages, • Calculating materials, labour, wastage and associated costs, • Obtaining and reviewing supplier quotations, • Preparing and submitting competitive tenders, • Managing tender enquiries from initial receipt through to submission, • Liaising with housebuilders, developers and commercial teams, • Identifying value-engineering opportunities where appropriate, • Supporting the handover of successful tenders to our contracts/operations team The Candidate We are looking for someone with previous estimating experience within the flooring industry, ideally with experience of working on new-build residential developments. You should have: • Proven experience using digital take-off/estimating software, • Strong knowledge of carpet, vinyl and wood flooring, • Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications, • Excellent numerical and analytical skills, • Good commercial awareness, • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, • Confidence working independently and managing multiple tenders, • Good communication and organisational skills, • Experience dealing with housebuilders, developers or main contractors would be a strong advantage What We Offer This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and established flooring business with a strong presence in the new-build residential sector.     Immediate start opportunity for a self-employed/subcontractor plumber, offering up to £240 per day, depending on experience, across domestic building sites in South London and Surrey. You will install and maintain first- and second-fix plumbing systems, including hot and cold water pipework, drainage, and service pipework. Responsibilities include: • Installing and routing pipework using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge., • Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and site specifications., • Installing pipes, fittings, and materials in accordance with site safety procedures., • Maintaining accurate records of completed work, materials used, and inspection requirements., • Supporting the installation of MVHR and ASHP systems; experience in these areas is preferred. Requirements: • NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating, or an equivalent qualification., • Valid CSCS card for site access; a Blue Skilled Worker or Gold Advanced Craft card is preferred., • Proven experience in domestic first- and second-fix plumbing., • Own professional tools and reliable transport for travel between sites., • Good knowledge of plumbing systems, including water supplies, drainage, and leak testing., • Ability to read technical drawings, take accurate measurements, and calculate pipe runs., • Ability to carry out physical work and lift materials safely in a building-site environment.

    We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer / Construction Manager to support and help manage an 8-flat residential development in Worcester Park. The groundworks and foundations have been completed, and the project is now moving into the next phase of works, including steelwork installation followed by block and beam flooring and superstructure works. We need someone practical and experienced who can take ownership of the site measurement, setting out, coordination and day-to-day management of this stage of the project. Key Responsibilities • Check and verify site measurements against structural and architectural drawings, • Set out and confirm positions, levels and dimensions for the steelwork, • Liaise with the structural engineer, steel fabricator, beam and block supplier, building control and contractors, • Identify and report any discrepancies between drawings and the actual site conditions, • Help coordinate and manage the next construction phase from steelwork through to floor installation and follow-on works, • Ensure works are carried out accurately, safely and in the correct sequence, • Oversee quality control on site, • Assist with programme planning and keeping the project moving, • Provide practical site-based solutions and recommendations where issues arise Requirements • Proven experience in residential construction projects, • Strong experience with setting out, site measurement and reading structural/architectural drawings, • Experience with steel frame / structural steelwork and beam and block flooring, • Ability to independently verify dimensions and levels on site, • Good communication and coordination skills, • Hands-on, proactive and commercially aware, • Own setting out equipment / access to surveying equipment is an advantage, • Ability to start quickly Ideal Candidate The ideal person will be someone who has worked on similar residential developments and is confident taking responsibility for: • checking dimensions on site, • managing the interface between the engineer, steel company and builders, • helping move the project forward without constant hand-holding
