We’re looking for an experienced Motor Insurance Product Development Manager to take hands-on ownership of Private Motor broker schemes, working closely with underwriting to build, enhance and optimise schemes across our insurer panel. About Premium Choice Insurance Premium Choice Insurance is a specialist UK motor insurance broker with over 25 years’ experience, working with a wide panel of insurer and data partners to deliver tailored, customer-focused motor insurance products. The Role Reporting into the Underwriting Director, you’ll take the lead on delivering new Private Motor products and managing changes and enhancements to existing schemes. This is a hands-on product development role with real ownership — combining product design, data, governance, and delivery. You’ll work closely with underwriting and external partners to ensure products are delivered smoothly and perform well. Key Responsibilities • Lead and project manage the delivery of scheme rules, rating and decision logic, • Own product change delivery from concept through build, testing, UAT, sign-off and live implementation, • Create and amend Active Quote Rules, • Build and Update Mobius Tables, • Create, maintain and manage product specifications for internal teams and insurer partners, • Work with underwriting and pricing teams on risk appetite, referrals, declines, and footprint expansion, • Manage and update product rules and rating / decision logic, • Liaise with third-party suppliers and data providers to agree requirements and go-live dates, • Monitor and manage motor data sources, including vehicle and enrichment data, • Track product performance, scheme results and MI, identifying issues and improvement opportunities, • Support analysis of scheme performance and customer outcomes, • Investigate product issues raised across the business and propose solutions About You You have hands-on experience delivering UK Private Motor insurance schemes, ideally within a broker or MGA environment. You’ll ideally have: • Proven experience in insurance product development or product management, • Experience in dealing with data and service providers, • Proven record using Mobius tables, • Experience delivering product change in complex, multi-stakeholder environments, • Confidence working with underwriting, pricing, IT and external partners, • Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills, • A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and own outcomes If this sounds like a good fit — or you’d like an informal conversation about the role — we’d be happy to chat.
