We are now seeking a dedicated Floor Manager to lead and oversee our daily front-of-house operations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Daily Operations Management Supervise daily floor operations, ensuring smooth service flow, high customer satisfaction, and adherence to company standards. Address and resolve any issues that may arise during service hours. 2. Team Leadership & Training Lead, motivate, and train front-of-house staff to deliver excellent customer service. Conduct regular team meetings and provide ongoing coaching to enhance team performance and morale. 3. Customer Relations Act as the primary point of contact for customers during service, handling inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally to ensure a positive dining experience. 4. Quality Control & Compliance Monitor hygiene, health & safety regulations, and service quality standards at all times. Ensure compliance with all relevant licensing, food safety, and company policies. 5. Inventory & Cost Control Assist in managing inventory, placing orders, and controlling costs related to front-of-house operations. Work closely with the kitchen and management to maintain efficient supply levels and minimize waste. Prepare a full range of traditional Indian curry dishes, both meat-based and vegetarian, to high quality standards. Maintain consistency and authenticity of taste and presentation across all curry dishes. Ensure the correct use and proportion of spices and ingredients in line with regional Indian culinary practices. Work alongside kitchen management to plan menus and specials, reflecting both seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen assistants in curry preparation techniques and safe kitchen practices. Maintain proper inventory levels for curry ingredients and spices, ensuring freshness and minimising waste. Adhere to all food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards at all times. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to respond to customer feedback and accommodate dietary requirements.
