I’m partnering confidentially with a small, highly innovative clinical-stage biotech entering an exciting Phase III stage within the rare disease and Oncology GI space. With strong financial backing and a growing pipeline, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable yet agile organisation where you’ll have real visibility and influence. We are looking for a hands-on Senior Clinical Scientist who is eager to shape clinical strategy and play a meaningful role in advancing impactful science. Uniquely, prior oncology experience is not essential — the team is focused on bringing in someone bright, adaptable, and scientifically curious. Why this opportunity stands out: • Design protocols and contribute directly to study strategy, • Work closely with an experienced CMO and senior leadership team, • High exposure within a flat structure — your work will be recognised, • Be part of a passionate team focused on improving patient outcomes, • Strong progression potential as the company continues to grow, • Financially stable biotech with exciting long-term plans, • Remote role with occasional UK travel Key responsibilities: • Lead clinical study design from concept through protocol finalisation, • Review and interpret clinical and safety data, identifying trends and risks, • Contribute to regulatory and scientific documents and submissions, • Partner cross-functionally to ensure successful trial execution, • Support development strategy, biomarkers, and study milestones What they’re looking for: • PhD or PharmD in a relevant scientific discipline, • Around 5+ years’ clinical development experience (flexible for the right person), • Strong understanding of GCP and global clinical regulations, • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into insights, • A proactive, self-starting individual who thrives in a fast-moving environment If you’re looking for a role where you can step into real ownership, help shape clinical direction, and work on science that truly makes a difference, I’d love to speak with you confidentially.
