Job Description: Female Complex Care Support WorkerOverview We are currently seeking a Female Complex Care Support Worker to support a young client in the PO20 area. The role involves providing attentive, person-centred care to a 14-year-old male with complex care needs, including communication support, feeding support via PEG, and seizure management. Client Profile • Age: 14-year-old, • Gender: Male, • Condition:Cerebral Palsy, • Communication:Non-verbal, • Nutrition:PEG fed, • Medical history:SeizuresRole Responsibilities, • Provide complex care support tailored to the client’s needs and routines., • Support all aspects of daily living, maintaining dignity, comfort, and safety., • Assist with PEG feeding, ensuring correct procedure and hygiene standards are followed., • Support the client’s mobility and personal care needs in line with care plans., • Monitor for signs of seizures and follow agreed support procedures in emergencies., • Communicate effectively with a non-verbal client using care plan cues and routines., • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care delivered (e.g., notes/handovers where required)., • Promote independence, engagement, and wellbeing while ensuring full safeguarding compliance., • Work collaboratively with family, carers, and the care team.Available Shifts, • Tuesday Night: 9:00pm – 7:00am (10 hours), • Wednesday Night: 9:00pm – 7:00am (10 hours), • Saturday Day Shift:10 hours (exact times to be confirmed)Requirements, • Female applicants only (as required for the client support arrangements)., • Experience or confidence in complex care support, especially with:, • PEG feeding (training provided where applicable), • Cerebral Palsy support needs, • Working with a non-verbal young person, • Supporting individuals with seizure history (training provided where applicable), • Ability to follow care plans, follow instructions accurately, and act calmly under pressure., • Strong communication and observation skills for spotting changes in condition., • Reliable timekeeping and commitment to scheduled shifts., • Right to work in the UK and willingness to undertake required safeguarding checks/training.Location, • PO20 areaShift Pattern, • Nights: Tuesday and Wednesday, • Plus: Saturday day shift (10 hours, times to be confirmed)
