    Experienced Home Cleaner Required – Leyton Area We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and organised EXPERIENCED cleaner to assist with all cleaning and general organisation of a family home, mainly bathrooms, living room, kitchens, hallway, stairs etc. Totally keeping the home organised and clean. The position will initially be for 6 hours per week, spread across two days: Tuesdays and Fridays. Please do not apply if you do not available TUESDAY am & FRIDAY am. Duties will include: • General household cleaning, • Keeping rooms clean and tidy, • Household organisation as required Applicants should be physically fit, dependable, and able to work to a good standard with attention to detail. Ideally, applicants should live in or close to the Leyton area. Responsibilities/Duties Perform thorough cleaning areas, including floors, windows, bathrooms and living areas. Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and maintained to high standards of hygiene and cleanliness Empty bins receptacles regularly and dispose of waste responsibly in designated areas Restock supplies towels, toilet paper to ensure availability at all times. Any ad hoc duties, as requested. Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly during cleaning tasks Experience Previous janitorial, private or commercial cleaning experience is ESSENTIAL. Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment used in professional and private home cleaning environments. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to established protocols Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift moderate loads, and stand for extended periods. Property and accommodation • Carry out regular checks of allocated properties, including communal, internal and external areas., • Identify and report repairs, maintenance issues, property damage and health and safety concerns., • Follow up reported repairs and liaise with the maintenance team regarding outstanding works., • Check that rubbish is managed and that fire exits, escape routes and communal areas remain clear., • Check that required property and fire safety signage is displayed., • Assist with move-in and move-out checks, including checking furniture, equipment and other property items., • Take photographs and record evidence of property issues where required., • Keep property inspection and maintenance records up to date., • Report compliance concerns promptly to management. Administration and communication • Update internal trackers and databases., • Ensure support documentation is completed accurately and within required timescales., • Monitor outstanding actions and follow them through to completion., • Communicate effectively with management, administration and other members of the support team.
