We’re hiring a Service Manager to head up our clients UK & Ireland territory—driving service excellence, aftermarket growth, and customer satisfaction across a premium portfolio of automated manufacturing systems for range of Aerospace and defence manufacturers\n\nYou will be responsible for management of a service team (4 Engineers) and drive continued service sales to maintain client relation and increase workflow.\n\nThe successful candidate will have a demonstrable technical background working within a Service Management role ideally within an automation / Machine tool based environment. Experince with aftermarket sales is also a part of the role so experinece with this is highly desireable\n\nKnowledge of CNC Machine tools, Beckhoff / Siemens PLCS and FANUC/Kuka/ ABB Robotics would be highly advantageous.\n\nThis role will be based remotely in the UK with travel to client sites as required\n\nThe role will cover sites mainly in the Midlands / NW but also some across the UK so a willingness to travel is required.\n\nRole Description\n\n * Leading and developing a territory-wide service team focused on CNC machinery, robotics, and automated systems\n\n * Driving proactive account management and long-term service agreements\n\n * Promoting aftermarket products to optimise machine uptime and lifecycle performance\n\n * Coordinating service operations and ensuring delivery is on time, on budget, and compliant\n\n * Collaborating with global back-office and sales teams to maximise territory potential\n\n * Reporting directly to the Head of Services RoE and contributing to global service strategy\n\nSkills and Qualifications\n\n * Demonstrable experience working within a service management role in a fast paced environment\n\n * Candidates must be qualified in a suitable engineering discipline\n\n * Strong commercial awareness\n\n * Working knowledge of PLC’s ( Beckhoff / Siemens ) is advantageous\n\n * Good working knowledge of Robotics ( ABB/ Fanuc/ Kuka Advantageous) - Desirable\n\n * Strong customer service mind set\n\n * Willing to travel as required to sites in the UK and Ireland.\n\n * Full UK Driving License and valid passport\n\nThis vacancy is being advertised by Complete Talent Services Ltd who are acting as an Employment Agency
