We are ORESA, an executive search consultancy working with some of the UK’s most ambitious organisations across retail, consumer and technology. Alongside ORESA, you will support Growth Index, our partner, in developing annual rankings of the UK’s fastest-growing companies. As an Analyst, you will shape datasets, run financial interrogations, and develop the insight that determines who qualifies for Growth Index. You’ll gain genuine commercial exposure, learning how founders, CEOs and investors think and how high-growth businesses scale. This isn’t an admin role; this is a high-impact, analytical position where your work powers two influential brands and feeds directly into board-level conversations. You will have the opportunity to work directly with our CEO day to day. Why this role is genuinely unique: • Own a core research and insight function from day one: build datasets, run models, shape analysis, conduct due diligence and build powerful insights and reports, • Develop deep commercial insights: by analysing how the UK’s fastest-growing companies truly operate and scale, from margin to operating models, • Front-row seat to growth: gain access to founders, CEOs, and senior investors., • Be part of something influential: ORESA have built high achieving leadership teams for companies that have excelled and partner with the highly respected Growth Index, • Your work is visible and valued: your analysis informs strategic decisions, report content, and senior-level conversations What you’ll be doing: Company Analysis • Identify and longlist high-growth companies using industry leading software, databases, sector lists and ecosystem signals, • Run financial analysis (including CAGR), interrogate ownership structures and validate performance, • Conduct light and deep dives into sectors, company models, revenue streams and leadership structures, • Profile founders and senior teams, gathering key data to support analysis and publication, • Build and maintain the Growth Index master dataset, • Develop insight for Growth Index reports and ORESA content, • Convert raw data into structured insight for strategy, client conversations and BD targeting, • Support marketing, providing data and market insights for daily/weekly newsletters, • Strengthen the ORESA market intelligence capability Data & Systems • Build, clean and maintain robust datasets with complete accuracy and structure, • Segment data for campaigns, outreach and analyst workflows, • Own the integrity and organisation of data, including multiple databases / systems ORESA Support • Provide structured insight for executive search assignments (sector mapping, company research, organisational charts)., • Prepare concise briefing notes for senior consultants and the CEO, • Identify BD opportunities through market scanning and weekly intelligence, • Support target list creation for searches and market analysis projects What we’re looking for This role is perfect for a high-potential, early-career candidate, who wants to accelerate their commercial, analytical and business world understanding • Degree or equivalent experience in business, economics, analytics, or a related field reliant on research and analytics, • Naturally curious with an intelligent problem-solving mindset, • Previous database, analytics, Python and SQL skills would be an advantage, • Hyper-organised, structured, and motivated to deliver at pace, • Confidence with data analysis and building insights, • High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure, • Clear communication skills, • High emotional intelligence and a lack of ego/humility, • A positive mindset and willingness to learn – we value people who are both diligent and good-humoured – ‘good eggs’! Location • Based within commuting distance of Leeds (3+ days per week in the office)., • Must have the right to work in the UK (we are unable to provide future Visa/Sponsorship).
