Job title: Project Manager, IT Transformation Location: Meriden, West Midlands. Office-based five days a week. Salary: £42,000 to £48,000 We're running a series of transformation projects across our recruitment group, and we need a project manager who can help to deliver critical project across it. Projects range from a Dynamics 365 CRM rollout, AI enabled search and matching, an LLM-based tooling, and infrastructure modernisation. Real work, real scope, board-level visibility, two or three projects on your desk at any one time. If you've done two to four years at a consultancy or a Microsoft partner and you're ready to own things properly, we would love to hear from you. About us Pertemps Network Group is one of the biggest recruitment businesses in the UK. The role You'll own two or three projects end to end. That's planning, governance, RAID, developer and supplier coordination, steering committees, stakeholder management, and the challenging conversations if something slips. You'll work shoulder to shoulder with our development, infrastructure, data and product teams. You'll present to executive sponsors regularly and your work will have board-level visibility from day one. The projects are genuinely technical. You won't need to code, but you'll need to hold your own in a design review, read a spec critically, and translate between engineers and the business. If the last time you touched technology was on a training course, you'll find this role difficult. What good looks like Two to four years of real delivery experience at a tier-one consultancy, a Big Four, or a Microsoft Dynamics or Power Platform partner. Evidence you've done the work rather than been near it: you've written a spec yourself, managed a supplier who was missing deadlines, replanned a workstream when something broke, and presented to a director without a senior colleague in the room. Working knowledge of at least one of Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, M365, integration patterns, or a modern data platform. Certifications are useful but we care more about what you've actually shipped. We invest properly in development so if you want PRINCE2, APM, Agile, or Microsoft certifications, we'll pay for them. Above all: you take ownership instinctively, you chase things down without being asked, you communicate cleanly under pressure, and you don't need to be managed closely to get things done. The practical bit This is 100% office-based at Meriden, five days a week with travel to sites when needed. The projects you'll run depend heavily on being in the room and building real relationships with developers and the business. Meriden sits off the M42 and M6, 20 minutes from central Birmingham or Coventry, free parking. Salary is £42,000 to £48,000 depending on experience. 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays, pension, genuine development budget, and the wider Pertemps benefits package.
