    The Listing is looking for a confident, organised and proactive Sales & Events Assistant to join our team. You’ll support the day-to-day sales and events operation, helping turn enquiries into confirmed bookings while ensuring clients receive excellent service from their first enquiry through to their event. This is a customer-facing role, so excellent communication skills are crucial. You should be comfortable speaking with clients by email, over the phone and face-to-face, and confident conducting venue viewings. Key Responsibilities • Handle incoming event and booking enquiries via email and telephone in a professional and timely manner., • Respond to clients, provide venue information, menus, packages and availability, and follow up enquiries to help convert leads into bookings., • Proactively generate new leads and identify opportunities for corporate events, private parties, Christmas bookings and other functions., • Conduct venue viewings with prospective clients, confidently presenting The Listing and its different event spaces., • Follow up after viewings and maintain communication with prospective clients., • Assist with preparing quotes, proposals and event information., • Maintain accurate records of enquiries, leads, bookings and client communications., • Work closely with the operations team to ensure confirmed event details are communicated correctly., • Assist the Office Manager with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks., • Help maintain relationships with existing corporate and event clients and encourage repeat business., • Support the wider team during busy periods and with general office duties where required. What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate will have: • Excellent written and verbal communication skills., • A confident and professional telephone manner., • A friendly, outgoing personality and confidence meeting clients face-to-face., • Strong organisation and attention to detail., • Good time-management skills and the ability to manage multiple enquiries at once., • A proactive approach to sales and lead generation., • Confidence following up leads and asking for the booking., • Good computer and administrative skills., • The ability to work independently while also being part of a busy hospitality team., • Previous experience in hospitality, events, sales or customer service is desirable but not essential. What Success Looks Like Success in this role means responding quickly to enquiries, providing an excellent client experience, generating new opportunities and ultimately helping increase the number and value of events booked at The Listing. We’re looking for someone who doesn’t simply process enquiries, but actively follows them up, builds relationships and looks for opportunities to turn interest into business.

Roles We’re Recruiting For Administration & Finance Supporting the day-to-day operation of the business, including: • General administration, • Document and record management, • Invoices and purchase records, • Supplier and subcontractor documentation, • Project paperwork, • Cost and payment tracking, • Supporting the wider management team Business Development Helping identify and secure new opportunities for the company.Responsibilities may include: • Finding potential clients and projects, • Developing new business relationships, • Following up enquiries and leads, • Attending meetings and site visits, • Understanding client requirements, • Supporting the business from initial enquiry through to quotation Sales Managing enquiries and helping convert opportunities into secured projects.This may include: • Speaking with prospective clients, • Understanding their requirements, • Following up quotations, • Maintaining client relationships, • Coordinating with estimating and project teams, • Helping move opportunities from enquiry to confirmed project Estimator Responsible for understanding the scope of proposed works and producing accurate, competitive quotations.This may include: • Reviewing drawings and specifications, • Carrying out site surveys, • Taking measurements and quantities, • Preparing material and labour costs, • Obtaining supplier and subcontractor prices, • Producing detailed quotations, • Identifying exclusions, risks and potential variations, • Working closely with Sales, Project Management and Procurement Design & Technical Supporting the technical development of projects before and during construction.Depending on experience, responsibilities may include: • Reviewing construction drawings, • Producing or coordinating layouts, • Developing technical details, • Checking dimensions and specifications, • Coordinating design information with site teams, • Identifying potential construction issues before work begins Project Management Taking responsibility for projects from pre-construction through to completion.Responsibilities may include: • Planning and programming works, • Coordinating labour, subcontractors and suppliers, • Monitoring costs and progress, • Managing client communication, • Resolving project issues, • Managing variations, • Maintaining quality and programme, • Driving projects towards successful completion and handover Site Management Managing the day-to-day delivery of our projects on site.Responsibilities may include: • Coordinating trades and operatives, • Organising daily works, • Checking workmanship and progress, • Maintaining site safety, • Managing deliveries and materials, • Reporting problems early, • Working with the Project Manager to keep the project on programme, • Preparing areas for inspection and handover Shopfitting & Multi-Trade Operatives Hands-on roles delivering our fit-out and refurbishment projects.We are interested in people with experience in areas such as: • Carpentry and joinery, • Drylining and partitions, • Ceilings, • Painting and decorating, • Flooring, • Kitchen and worktop installation, • Fixtures and fittings, • General building works, • Making good and finishing Multi-skilled candidates are particularly valuable.
