    As the Employee Relations Manager, you will lead and manage all employee relations matters across the organisation, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant practices. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and line managers, supporting them in handling complex people matters while fostering engagement, inclusion, and organisational effectiveness. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary actions, grievance procedures, absence management, safeguarding-related staff matters, and performance issues., • Provide expert advice on UK employment legislation and internal policies., • Conduct and oversee investigations, ensuring fairness and adherence to best practices., • Support and coach managers to enhance people management capabilities., • Monitor ER trends and offer data-driven recommendations for improvement., • Support organisational change initiatives and formal consultations., • Ensure HR policies remain compliant and aligned with sector best practice., • Promote a positive, inclusive, and values-driven workplace culture. What You'll Bring: • Proven experience in Employee Relations or a senior HR advisory role., • Strong knowledge of UK employment law., • Demonstrated ability to manage complex casework independently., • Excellent communication, influencing, and conflict resolution skills., • Experience within the education, training, or apprenticeship sectors is desirable.     We are seeking an experienced People Relations Partner to deliver trusted, professional HR advice and support in line with company policies, while actively promoting an open, inclusive, and values-driven culture. Position: People Relations Partner Salary: up to £40,000K Hours: 35 hours per week (Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the business, which may require you to adjust your usual working hours and days from time to time) About the Role • Act as the first point of contact, providing clear, comprehensive HR advice, support, and guidance to colleagues and managers on all employee relations (ER) matters., • Ensure full compliance with company policies, government guidance, employment law, ACAS principles, and HR best practice at all times., • Apply accurate, consistent, and timely processes, using best practice and a pragmatic, best-fit approach to achieve fair outcomes for colleagues and the business while mitigating risk. This includes, but is not limited to, TUPE transfers, redundancy processes, formal disciplinary hearings, mediation, grievance meetings (where mediation is not appropriate), medical capability reviews, and wellbeing meetings., • Take responsibility for end-to-end case management, including all associated correspondence and formal letter writing, for assigned cases within the case management system, ensuring timely completion in line with agreed SLAs., • Manage third-party engagement, particularly with Trade Union representatives, in a professional and effective manner, minimising risk and ensuring outcomes remain aligned with company policy, legal requirements, and business interests (Please see the attached full job specification for more details.)
