We are recruiting Teaching Assistants and SEN Teaching Assistants to work in schools in Skegness. If you do not have experience supporting children, this role will not be suitable. The Supply Register is recruiting Supply Teaching Assistants to support primary and secondary schools within Greenwood Academies Trust, based in Skegness. These roles are ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting children and young people, and who want to make a real difference in the classroom while gaining valuable school-based experience. About the Role As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with class teachers to support pupils academically, socially, and emotionally. Roles may involve general classroom support, small-group interventions, or acting as a key adult for identified pupils. You’ll play an important part in creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment, helping pupils feel confident, engaged, and ready to learn. Roles are available across primary and secondary settings, depending on experience and preference. Key Responsibilities • Provide consistent classroom and key-adult support to pupils, • Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities, • Assist with small-group work and one-to-one interventions, • Help maintain a calm, safe, and inclusive learning environment, • Encourage pupils’ independence, confidence, and positive behaviour, • Support pupils’ social and emotional wellbeing, • Work collaboratively with teachers and school staffWhat We’re Looking For, • Experience working with children or young people in a UK school setting (essential), • A caring, patient, and proactive approach, • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, • The ability to adapt to different classroom settings, • Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are desirable but not essential, • Willingness to complete training and ongoing CPD THIS ROLE IS NOT SUITABLE IF: • You have never worked with children, • You are looking for warehouse, retail, admin or office-based work, • You are not comfortable supporting SEN pupils, • You are unable to commit to school-based working hours What You’ll Receive • Competitive daily pay (£95–£100 per day), • Weekly pay every Friday, • Access to training and professional development, • Opportunities across a respected multi-academy trust, • Ongoing support from a dedicated Partnership Manager (Katie)
