Join us in a dynamic environment filled with groundbreaking technology, state-of-the-art labs, and a team of passionate inventors! \n\nWhat To Expect:\n During your 24-month post-doctoral placement, you will: \n\n • Work on real projects for some of our most beloved brands, bridging the gap between academic discovery and real-world impact.\n, • Be at the forefront of analytical method development, tackling complex consumer challenges with innovative solutions.\n, • Utilize cutting-edge instrumentation to generate critical data and uncover new insights that will shape the future of Fabric and Home Care solutions.\n\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n, • Design and execute advanced laboratory experiments focused on volatile and semi-volatile analysis using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS).\n, • Develop, validate, and implement novel analytical methods, particularly using advanced sample introduction techniques like Headspace Solid-Phase Microextraction (HS-SPME) and Thermal Desorption (TD).\n, • Analyze and interpret complex analytical data to provide actionable insights for technology development.\n, • Collaborate with a cross-functional team of senior scientists, engineers, and product developers to drive R&D initiatives.\n, • Take ownership of critical analytical instrumentation, ensuring routine maintenance and performance optimization.\n, • Communicate findings effectively through technical reports, data summaries, and presentations to diverse stakeholders.\n\n\nWhat We Offer You:\n\n, • \nResponsibilities from Day 1: You’ll dive right in, making a tangible impact on our products from the start.\n, • \nBuild from Within Career: Collaborate with passionate individuals and receive formal training and mentorship. Successful candidates may be considered for full-time roles with P&G.\n, • You should be in the final year of a PhD program or have recently completed a PhD (within the last 1-2 years) in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, or a related field.\n, • Demonstrated expertise in gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) with a preference for 3+ years of hands-on experience.\n, • Experience with advanced sample introduction techniques for GC-MS, specifically HS-SPME and/or Thermal Desorption (TD).\n, • A strong foundation in analytical chemistry principles and a passion for hands-on laboratory work.\n, • Academic excellence with a proven track record of independent problem-solving and method development.\n, • Demonstrated curiosity, creativity, initiative, leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.\n
