Working as the Drainage Engineer, you will diagnose, clear, clean and repair internal and external drainage systems using specialist industry equipment, while delivering excellent customer service and high standards of workmanship. As the Drainage Engineer, you will need proven drainage experience, a professional approach, a positive can-do attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. DUTIES Your duties as the Drainage Engineer will include: • Drainage Equipment Operation: Operating high-pressure van pack jetting equipment, push-rod CCTV drain camera systems, Electro-Mechanical Cleaning machines and other industry-standard drainage equipment, • Drainage Repairs: Carrying out drain patch lining and basic no-dig repair techniques, • Drainage Diagnosis: Diagnosing, clearing and cleaning internal and external drainage systems, • Site Work: Working safely and professionally in domestic and commercial environments, • Customer Service: Delivering excellent customer service while maintaining exceptional standards of workmanship, • Teamwork: Working independently and as part of a wider professional team, • Call-Out Rota: Participating in the emergency call-out rota CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS ESSENTIAL • Proven experience operating high-pressure van pack jetting equipment, • Experience using push-rod CCTV drain camera systems, • Experience with drain patch lining and basic no-dig repair techniques, • Experience operating Electro-Mechanical Cleaning machines and other industry-standard drainage equipment, • Ability to diagnose, clear and clean internal and external drainage systems, • Able to work safely and professionally in domestic and commercial environments, • Excellent customer service skills and a high standard of workmanship, • Positive, can-do attitude, • Reliable, honest and professional approach, • Able to work independently and as part of a team, • Excellent problem-solving skills, • Full UK driving licence, • Live within Oxfordshire or the surrounding counties, • Willing to participate in the emergency call-out rota BENEFITS • Competitive basic salary of £32,000 to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, • Excellent uncapped commission scheme, • Typical earnings of £50,000 to £60,000+ per annum, • Additional performance bonuses and incentives throughout the year, • Fully equipped company van, • Fuel card, • Company mobile phone, • Full branded uniform, • PPE and Health & Safety equipment supplied, • Company pension scheme, • 29 days annual leave, inclusive of Bank Holidays, • Paid Birthday Leave, Monday to Friday birthdays only, • A flexible and varied role where no two days are the same, • Ongoing training and genuine opportunities for career progression This role requires an Enhanced DBS Check HOW TO APPLY To be considered for this job vacancy, please submit your CV to our Recruitment Team who will review your details.
