We’re a new and ambitious French pastry shop opening in Manchester — and we’re looking for a passionate, hands-on Pastry Chef to join us from the very beginning. This is more than just a job — it’s a chance to grow with the business. You’ll start by working closely with the founders, and as the business develops, so will your role. About the Role: As a key team member in a small shop, you’ll take on a variety of tasks, including: Preparing and baking French-style pastries, tarts, and other baked goods (sweet & savoury) Helping develop new recipes and seasonal specials Assisting with kitchen prep, stock, and cleanliness Occasionally serving customers and handling basic coffee orders Supporting day-to-day operations with a positive, flexible attitude What We’re Looking For: Solid experience in pastry or baking (professional or serious home experience) Comfortable with baking techniques and kitchen organization All-rounder mentality – willing to jump in wherever needed Attention to detail and pride in presentation Ability to work efficiently and cleanly in a small kitchen Good communication and a team-first attitude French speaker?
