Electrical Supervisor Sparkford | £40,000 per annum | Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm, Friday 7:30am-1:30pm | Full-Time Introduction Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a globally recognised and fast-growing engineering company in Sparkford. Key Duties * Manage the day-to-day operations of the electrical workshop. * Lead, motivate, and support a team of 6-8 electrical operatives. * Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet shipping deadlines and ensure on-time delivery. * Monitor and manage stock levels of consumables and electrical components. * Oversee labour planning, including supporting recruitment where required. * Adapt to changing priorities and manage staffing levels, including overtime. * Conduct regular inspections to ensure all work meets required standards. * Identify production issues and implement effective corrective actions. * Report on production progress, challenges, and solutions to senior management. * Monitor team performance, set targets, and carry out appraisals. * Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including conducting safety inspections. * Maintain accurate documentation, records, and filing systems. Requirements * Minimum of 5 years' experience in a supervisory role within an electrical or manufacturing environment. * HNC / HND in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (preferred). * Strong practical electrical experience with proven leadership ability. * Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. * Experience with control panel wiring or similar environments. * Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to meet deadlines. * Good commercial awareness and understanding of productivity drivers. * Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
