The Quality / Calibration Engineer will provide leadership and be responsible for day-to-day management and implementation of Calibrated Equipment and it’s System in line with key Aerospace requirements, fundamentally focusing around EN_9100 and traceability to National & International Standards.Key Responsibilities • Maintain calibrated equipment across the business, managing both internal and external calibration requirements., • Maintain QMS requirements in line with ongoing standard expectations (AS9100 and customer flow-down requirements)., • Prepare and organise internal audits, including NCR closure., • Support customer requirements for annual audit activities., • Adhere to company health and safety requirements and complete all required training., • Process supplier and customer returns for non-conforming items., • Promote performance improvement activities and quality assurance programs throughout the company., • Identify and implement corrective and preventative actions., • Carry out problem-solving activities within production., • Identify and investigate trends from internal failure modes., • Ensure QA activities and priorities are met to achieve on-time delivery (internally and externally)., • Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members to maintain a professional and consistent working environment., • Work flexibly, including potential travel between sites or customer locations, depending on business needs., • Communicate directly with customer quality representatives when investigating complaints., • Support and adapt to changes in standards, policies, processes, and products.Skills and Qualifications / Experience, • Calibration experience (practical knowledge and understanding)., • Strong understanding of EN 9100 requirements (minimum 3 years’ experience)., • Experience working in a manufacturing environment., • Ability to work effectively under pressure., • Capable of working both independently and as part of a team., • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
