Job brief We are looking for a customer focused individual to meet our revenue and EBIT growth objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience of selling high value services in a technical field. Duties will include hitting and exceeding targets, building relationships and understanding customer trends. Duties will also include management of current inside sales personnel. Responsibilities -\tOwn and hit/exceed annual sales targets. -\tBuild and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, understand their business needs and objectives and align with Alter UK capabilities. -\tLine management of inside sales staff, with the ability to train and recruit if required. -\tUnderstand and communicate market and customer trends, forecasts and roadmaps. -\tCross-sell and up-sell Alter UK and Alter Group services within existing accounts. -\tBe the focal point of customer engagement, managing accounts over the full lifetime. Duties -\tFocal point for customer enquiries. handling the full sales process from RFQ to revenue. Including: coordinate technical review, prepare quotations, negotiation, land orders and track through to fulfilment and revenue. -\tEffectively communicate Alters’ value proposition through sales calls, proposals and presentations. -\tRegular “health checks” on customer accounts including forecasts and business reviews. -\tRepresent the voice of the customer to internal departments and management. -\tProfitably analysis and adjustments of customer orders and accounts. -\tPlan, manage and conduct customer calls and visits onsite and at customer locations. -\tManage customer onboarding and agreements such as NDAs and service agreements. -\tManagement and regular follow-up of dormant and previous customers, including dissemination of Alter’s roadmap and new services. -\tMaintain and manage Sales processes and documentation as needed. -\tPreparation of monthly reports and presentation to management. -\tSupport of Business Development and marketing activities as required. Requirements -\tProven sales management experience, exceeding targets in sales of technical services. -\tAbility to communicate, present to, and influence all levels of organisations. -\tProven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close. -\tAbility to learn, understand and articulate technical information related to our services and the customer’s products and market. -\tKnowledge of Microelectronics or Photonics an advantage. -\tAbility to manage multiple customers and with specific business needs and a variety of technical requirements concurrently. -\tHighly responsive and organised. -\tExcellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills -\tExcellent verbal and written communications skills -\tFluent with Microsoft office tools, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams. Prior experience of CRM, ERP systems and Power BI an advantage. -\tAbility to travel on occasion throughout the UK and Europe.
