Regional Quality Control Manager Location: East of Scotland Sector: Construction We’re working with a well-established construction business operating across Central East Scotland, who are looking to appoint a Regional Quality Control Manager to support their project teams and help drive consistent, high standards of workmanship across the region. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with operational teams to make sure quality processes are properly embedded, practical, and genuinely adding value. The business is committed to getting it right the first time, reducing defects, improving productivity, and ensuring projects are handed over to clients to a high standard. Supporting the Operations Director and regional project teams, you’ll play a key role in strengthening quality control across the full project lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include: • Planning and carrying out regular quality review visits across sites in the region, • Supporting teams in the consistent use of quality control processes and procedures, • Encouraging effective use of digital field and document management tools to support inspections and reporting, • Reviewing quality data and reports to identify trends, recurring issues, and areas for improvement, • Providing clear, practical feedback to site teams on higher-risk work packages, • Assisting with Inspection and Test Plans for complex or high-risk elements of work, • Investigating significant non-conformances, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions, • Carrying out second-party audits of subcontractors and suppliers where required, • Contributing to monthly and quarterly reporting on quality performance You’ll likely come from a construction background, whether trade, technical, or degree-qualified, and have a strong understanding of how projects are delivered on site. You’ll be confident working with operational teams, able to challenge constructively, and comfortable analysing information to support better decision-making. We’re looking for someone with: • HND, Degree or strong trade background in construction, • Valid CSCS card, • Full UK driving licence, • Experience working with quality assurance processes on construction projects, • Good IT skills and confidence using digital systems and reports, • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with people at all levels, • A practical, solutions-focused approach Legal Information: We act as an employment agency for permanent work and as an employment business for temporary work.
