Responsibilities for the SAP Archiving Consultant / Architect: • Own and drive the SAP archiving lifecycle across ECC and S/4HANA systems, • Design and implement archiving strategies aligned to business, audit and compliance needs, • Deliver hands-on configuration and execution using SARA, ADK, ArchiveLink and ILM, • Reduce database growth and improve system performance and storage efficiency, • Ensure readiness for audit, retention and regulatory requirements, • Work closely with Basis, Functional, Security and Audit teams, • Define governance standards, controls and documentation for archiving processes, • Strong experience in SAP Archiving across ECC and S/4HANA, • Hands-on knowledge of SARA, ADK and ArchiveLink, • Experience with OpenText archiving solutions, • Strong understanding of SAP Basis environments, • Knowledge of data retention, governance and compliance requirements, • Experience with SAP ILM, • Experience with OpenText or similar content management platforms, • Knowledge of HANA data volume optimisation
