Following an exciting expansion of the service by NHS England, to add two additional teams to our existing four, we are looking to recruit 8 trainee Education Mental Health Practitioners to cover all of the schools in North Cumbria . • The positions are in both the West team which will involve working in schools in Whitehaven, Egremont, Workington, Cockermouth, Keswick and Maryport and These roles will be a recruit-to-train EMHP role. It is expected that the training for the recruit to train EMHP course will start in September 2026 subject to a successful interview with the university. f you feel that you are ready to undertake an exciting step in your career, then training and working as an EMHP is for you. In return for attending fully funded training in Low Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy at Northumbria University, you will be given a role as a qualified EMHP when you have completed your training.
