We are looking for an IT Operations Manager to lead the infrastructure,cybersecurityand operational IT services ensuring the businessremainssecure, resilient, and ready for the future. What will you be doing? As the IT Operations Manager,youlltake ownership of the strategic direction andday-to-daymanagement of the IT services, including infrastructure, helpdesk,cybersecurityand compliance.Youlllead, coach, and develop ahigh performingteam, while driving change programmes that enable our business tooperatesecurely, efficiently and with resilience. This is ahands-onleadership role where yourexpertisewill shape the companys digital future from cloud and networking to security posture, disaster recovery, and enterprise risk management. What skills and experience are required? Whilst the role is broad, you should be able to evidence where you have don ethe following. Built and developed an engaged, collaborative IT operations team Lead the design, delivery and continuous improvement of all infrastructure and cybersecurity services Managed key technologies including networking, servers, storage, firewalls, telephony, DR, and security operations Monitored emerging cybersecurity threats and proactively strengthening organisational defencewith our internal team and external partners Delivered compliance with regulatory and security best practice Delivery of IT change projects that enhance capability and support business growth Enhanced adoption of developing services and toolsets (e.g. AI) Technical integration of IT and Operational Technology (industrialsystems andnetworkinge.g. PLCs/SCADA)consideringrisk,cybersecurityand other controls Management of vendors, budgets, and investments in line with strategic priorities Werelooking for someone who combines technical depth with strong people leadership. Ideally, you will bring: Proven experience in an IT leadership role Deep knowledge of cybersecurity and IT infrastructure best practice Experience managing complex, multi-sitetechnical environments Strong communication,influencinganddecision-makingskills Ability to manage concurrent priorities in afast-movingenvironment Experience of service reporting & managing customer expectations Experience scoping and delivering improvement projectsand automation A proactive, collaborative approach aligned with our values:ForwardThinking,Responsibleand Caring Qualifications such as CISSP/CISM/CompTIA/CCNA, ITIL ordegree-levelstudy are desirable, as is experience in a manufacturing environment butabove all, werelooking for a leader who wants to make a real impact.
