Key responsibilities include: Producing detailed civil engineering designs for residential developments Designing highways, drainage, infrastructure, foundations and external works Supporting projects through the full technical design process, from concept through to construction Collaborating with internal departments and external consultants to ensure designs meet programme and quality requirements Contributing technical expertise and innovative solutions throughout project delivery Supporting continuous improvement and best practice across the technical team What you need to succeed Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent industry experience Previous experience as a Civil Engineer within either a consultancy or an in-house design team for a residential developer Experience designing infrastructure, highways, drainage, foundations and external works for housing developments Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, PDS and FLOW (or similar design software) Ideally Chartered (MICE) or Incorporated, although support will be provided for candidates working towards professional accreditation Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams A proactive approach with a genuine desire to develop your career within residential development
