Are you looking for a new Warehouse Assistant's role? \n Are you available immediately and happy to do temporary work? \n If so, please do apply as I have several clients in the area that always require reliable, hard-working individuals to work with their Warehouse teams. \n Main responsibilities of this role will include: \n\n • Accurately pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch\n, • Receive, check, and store incoming deliveries\n, • Operate warehouse equipment (e.g. forklifts, pallet trucks, scanners) safely and efficiently\n, • Maintain accurate stock levels and assist with regular inventory checks\n, • Ensure all goods are stored correctly and the warehouse is kept clean and organised\n, • Follow health & safety procedures at all times\n, • Assist with loading and unloading vehicles\n, • Support other departments when required to meet business needs\n, • Ensure proper labelling and packaging of goods for shipment.\n, • Keep the warehouse clean, organised and safe\n\n The successful candidate will possess the following attributes: \n\n • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not essential – full training will be provided\n, • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods.\n, • Ability to lift heavy items and perform physically.\n, • Possess a valid forklift operator's license or willingness to obtain one.\n, • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.\n, • Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.\n, • Familiarity with warehouse management systems or similar software applications\n, • Basic IT skills (e.g. using handheld scanners or stock systems) are a plus\n\n

Premier Work Support are excited to be recruiting for a permanent Despatch Pick & Packer for our prestigious client based in the Horley/Salfords area. \n As a Despatch Pick & Packer some of the duties/requirements will consist of: \n\n • Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer requirements\n, • Use hand-held scanners to locate, scan, and track products\n, • Prepare goods for dispatch, including labeling and palletizing\n, • Perform general warehouse duties such as stock replenishment, loading/unloading, and maintaining cleanliness\n, • Follow all health and safety procedures at all times\n, • Work efficiently as part of a team to meet daily targets\n, • Report any stock discrepancies or damages to the supervisor\n\n The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast paced warehouse environment with previous warehouse experience.
