Fire Sprinkler Installation Engineer\n\nCovering North-West and Yorkshire region\n\n£30-40,000 + van + benefits\n\nManchester\n\nAre you an experienced CPVC Installation Engineer with a diligent, attentive and customer-focused approach looking for your next opportunity in the fire suppression industry Our client, a fast-growing organisation based in Manchester, is currently looking to grow their team with an experienced fire sprinkler engineer to cover the North-West and Yorkshire regions.\n\nJob Description\n\nWith the support of a Junior Installation Engineer, you will be traveling to a variety of construction sites where your key duties will include:\n\nLeading the installation of sprinkler systems, including pipes, fittings and components\nUnderstanding and interpreting designs and drawings\nLiaising with clients, representatives and subcontractors in a polite, respectful manner\nMaintaining close communication with Project Managers and providing updates/feedback\nCompleting inspections and testing, troubleshooting and repair of sprinkler systems\nSupervising and training of junior and trainee installation engineers onsite\nProducing accurate records of installations and inspections using company software\nManaging stock levels and ordering materials\nFollowing health and safety protocols and adhering to BS9251:2021 sprinkler standards \n\nPerson Specification\n\nWe’re looking for an experienced Fire Sprinkler Engineer who takes pride in their work, can demonstrate initiative and professionalism, works well independently and always maintains an exceptional standard of customer service. Suitable candidates will also need to demonstrate:\n\nIdeally 2+ years’ experience in a construction, CPVC pipefitting, fire sprinkler, HVAC or similar role\nDriving license and willingness to travel across the Northwest and Yorkshire region predominantly, although some national travel may also be required\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\nAbility to lead, supervise, mentor, train and support a small team\nAttention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records\nProficient in the use of technology and relevant software\nA positive attitude and willingness to learn\n\nIn return, you’ll be joining a fast-growing business that embraces collaboration, innovation and personal empowerment. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a salary of £30-40,000 depending on your experience, plus a van, mileage, pension, training and good career prospects to grow with the team and business.
