We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team at the I54 Wolverhampton site. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards, managing the control of process input variables, and driving continuous improvements in product quality and process performance. You’ll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to uphold the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. What You’ll Be Doing • Analyse customer complaints and internal rejects, performing robust root cause analysis and managing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)., • Track and report quality concerns, ensuring visibility and timely resolution., • Monitor and inspect production processes to verify that quality standards are consistently achieved., • Analyse process and quality data to identify and prioritise areas for improvement., • Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with ISO standards., • Develop, maintain, and improve quality documentation, including control plans, test plans, and validation protocols., • Monitor and control materials and supplies to ensure consistent quality., • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and supply chain to drive quality improvements., • Collect and analyse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to quality control and process improvement., • Support and sustain Lean and Six Sigma methodologies within the manufacturing environment., • Ensure full compliance with ISO 9001:2015, coordinating and supporting internal audit programs and corrective follow-ups. What You’ll Already Have • Strong administrative and organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail., • Proven experience working in an ISO 9001:2015 compliant environment., • Demonstrated experience conducting internal audits and managing quality management systems (QMS)., • In-depth knowledge of root cause analysis tools and methodologies such as 8D., • Ability to establish and maintain systems to ensure process input variables remain in specification., • Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies (certification advantageous)., • High level of computer literacy, including MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP systems such as EFACS., • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all levels of the organisation., • Ability to work independently, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment., • Qualified Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor certification (advantageous).
