Our warehouse plays a key role in preparing product samples and supporting efficient order dispatch. The Role We’re looking for a reliable and practical Warehouse Operative to join our team. The role involves preparing material samples, organising stock, handling deliveries, and keeping the workspace clean and efficient. You’ll be working with tools and materials daily, so attention to detail and a hands-on approach are essential. Key Responsibilities - Assist in preparing product samples using workshop tools (training provided) - Load and unload deliveries, including pallet handling - Organise and move stock safely around the warehouse - Pack and dispatch samples or orders accurately and efficiently - Maintain cleanliness and safety throughout the warehouse - Report low stock or tool issues to the team leader - Follow all health & safety procedures at all times Requirements - Experience in a warehouse, workshop or hands-on environment (preferred but not essential) - Physically fit and able to lift, bend, and stand for long periods - Good attention to detail and quality - Comfortable using basic tools or willing to learn - Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently - Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn new tasks What We Offer - Full training provided on all tools and processes - Competitive pay and regular working hours - Supportive team environment in a growing company - Opportunities to grow with the business over time

The shop will be stocked with essential home good, DIY (Do it Yourself), items for construction workers in trades such as Painting & Decorating, Plumbing, Electrical, Repairs, Tiling etc. Candidate must have experience in working in Building merchants, locksmith and customer interaction. We are looking for someone who is eager to hit the ground running and help us open the store, the first stage will be a stock in take of all items, organising layout, pricing, stock checking, training others. This is a long term position and huge potential for the right candidate who shares our values and work ethic.

Their key responsibilities include: 1. Sales & Business Development Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction and building industry. Promote and sell building materials such as steel, bricks, roofing, tiles, etc. 2. Customer Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, developers, maintenance companies and construction companies. Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly. 3. Market Research & Analysis Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies. Gather feedback from customers and suggest improvements in products or services. Identify customer needs and recommend suitable building materials. 4. Sales Planning & Target Achievement Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis. Negotiate contracts and close deals. 5. Product Knowledge & Technical Support Stay updated on building materials, their applications, and industry standards. Provide technical advice to clients on product specifications and best practices. Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers. 6. Coordination with different Teams Work closely with procurement, logistics, and marketing teams to ensure product availability and timely deliveries. Coordinate with finance for invoicing and payment collection. Assist in promotional activities and marketing campaigns.
