JOB DESCRIPTION About Us Guinness Property provides repairs and maintenance services to The Guinness Partnership. About the role We are looking for a Multi-skilled Joiner to join our Swindon team, delivering Complex repairs and general multi-skilled work. This is a permanent role, working 39 hours per week. The role includes participation in an out-of-hours callout rota, which comes with an additional payment. To ensure timely access to our residents, the successful candidate must live within the Swindon area. A full UK driving licence is essential. A basic DBS check is required, which will be paid for by The Guinness Partnership. Essential requirements of the role • You must be able to demonstrate competence within your primary trade, with the ability to carry out various multi-trade tasks such as basic plumbing, tiling, joinery, groundwork, mould washes/treatment and flooring installation., • Experience of working in a customer-focused environment, ideally within the social housing sector, with a consistent track record of delivering high-quality service., • Proven ability to work methodically, achieve targets, follow agreed procedures and accurately record information., • Ability to work with minimal supervision, demonstrating organisational and time management skills., • Ability to carry out physical tasks and apply products that remove and treat damp and mould, in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines., • Ability to operate safely, considering any environmental circumstances and possible risks. This is a permanent opportunity for a skilled Multi Trader with experience carrying out repairs and maintenance within occupied and void social housing properties. Due to the location of the works, candidates must live within approximately 10-15 miles of Hastings town centre. The role offers a varied workload across reactive and planned maintenance, carrying out a range of day-to-day repairs within residential properties. We are looking for candidates with a strong core trade and experience across a variety of maintenance disciplines. Our client, who are market leaders are looking to expand their installations team, installing, removing and relocating ATMs and self-service machines. If you have experience within the construction industry or have experience using tools or helped with installation for any industry this is a great opportunity to build a career and join a successful organisation. The role is field based, therefore a van will be provided (which can be used for personal use) and locations will be in bank branches and at remote customer sites as well as other building/construction projects. The role is physical and requires you to lift or move approximately 30kg. Tools, mobile phone, laptop, full training and great support will also be provided. You will be part of a team though may work on your own on certain projects and you will work within an assigned geographical area. There will be overnight stays, approximately 1 to 2 nights per week, especially if you have been asked to work in other parts of the UK.
