Field Service Technician Scully UK Ltd, based in Winsford, Cheshire is a small division of an International Company, seeking an energetic, positive team member who has strong technical skills to assist us in providing excellent service to our customers in the UK and Southern Ireland. Our brand is recognized worldwide for exceptional safety, quality and service and our focus is on protecting people and the environment. We engineer and manufacture safety controls for fuel storage and transport of hazardous liquids. Main duties, but not limited too & responsibilities: • Provide field service support to include preventative and corrective maintenance of Electronic Overfill Prevention, Static Grounding and Vehicle Identification Systems, • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve customer technical issues via phone and at customer site., • Repair where required product warranty returns at facility workshop., • Commissioning of new equipment., • Respond to customer product inquiries., • Repair, test and maintain equipment., • Make recommendations to customer maintenance technicians., • Assist in providing technical input to customer proposals, projects and presentations., • Approximately sixty percent travel within UK & Southern Ireland with nights away and office-facility based., • Arranging customer visits and planning trip itinerary to assigned locations for service maintenance annual visits with support from Technical Manager., • Provide technical; presentations/training/workshop sessions at customer site, • Product assembly work where requirement arises., • Attend trade show/conference’s if required for Technical Sales support. Required Qualifications & Experience • BTEC ONC or 2361 City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in electronics/electrical engineering., • Min 2/3 Years’ experience in an electrical or field service environment., • Ability to read and work with schematics & experience with various electronic testing equipment and procedures., • Relevant Engineering experience in the transportation or petroleum industries would be a benefit., • Confidence to interact at all levels., • Ability to work independently, or as part of a team., • Ability; to follow procedures, critical thinking, process improvement., • We are a small team, with a need for positive mindset, can-do attitude with willingness to take on additional tasks supporting other departments where needed and adapt to change., • Strong; organisational, verbal, written and communication skills., • Have ability for all common software systems (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and within our CRM system (full training given)., • Initial induction medical screening provided., • Driver’s License with minimum two years driving experience (Van provided for Business use), • Salary: £35,000 to 45,000, Dependant on experience Full time permanent: Hours: 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday Based Northwest region approx. one hour to office facility in Winsford most preferred.
