With a strong track record in engineering and infrastructure, we are expanding our renewable energy portfolio in the UK and EU markets and seeking a PMO Director/Manager. The role is based in London and covers UK and overseas operations, serving multiple countries. You will focus on building a consistent approach and implementing project management methodologies, processes, and best practices for managing global projects. What you'll be doing: • Develop and implement PMO processes, frameworks, and governance structures to support renewable energy projects., • Provide project oversight, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, cost control, and quality standards., • Establish and maintain project reporting systems to track progress, risks, and key performance indicators (KPIs)., • Work closely with project managers, stakeholders, and senior management to drive project success and ensure timelines, budgets, and scope are in line with expectations., • Ensure compliance with UK regulations, industry standards, and company policies., • Develop and maintain risk management processes, including mitigation strategies., • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery efficiency, conducting project reviews and post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned across multiple countries., • Facilitate resource planning and allocation across multiple projects., • Coordinate project documentation, ensuring accessibility and accuracy., • Lead initiatives for continuous improvement of project management processes and methodologies., • Develop and provide training for project managers and team members on best practices and tools., • Introduce innovative tools and practices to enhance project delivery efficiency., • Develop and enforce project management standards, tools, and templates., • Oversee the overall project portfolio, ensuring consistency and alignment with organizational goals. What experience you'll bring: • 10+ years of experience in project management, PMO, or related roles within the renewables, construction, or energy sector., • Completion of several renewable energy construction projects, preferably multiple projects at the same time., • Strong understanding of project governance, methodologies, and best practices., • Preferably, experience in team management., • Excellent analytical, technical, problem-solving, and organisational skills., • Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities., • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar)., • Knowledge of UK and local regulatory frameworks and renewable energy industry standards., • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively., • Degree or relevant experience in Project Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field., • PRINCE2, PMP, or similar project management certification., • Experience with large-scale renewable energy projects.
