Financial Operations Manager Liverpool £60,000 - £70,000 + Hybrid 4/1 WFH, 27days holiday + Bank, enhanced pension Forge Talent are thrilled to be partnering with a Logistics, Transport & Supply Chain powerhouse — a highly profitable, multi-site Group that’s investing heavily in people, data, and transformation. You’ll join a large shared-service function covering Accounts Payable, Billing & Credit Control, for the group. We’re looking for a Financial Operations Manager to be solid No.2 to an incredible Head of Finance — someone you actually want to work with. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee day-to-day operations across AP, Billing & Credit Control, • POC for all things day-to-day financial operations., • Drive improvements in reporting, KPIs & data-driven decision-making., • Partner with business leaders to ensure first-class financial reporting., • Step in for the HoF in senior meetings with the FD, COO & CEO., • Support ERP & reporting system upgrades (SAP)., • Lead cashflow forecasting & working capital initiatives., • Roll out dashboards & automation tools to enhance insight., • Build strong relationships across finance & operations. Requirements: • Proven experience in operational finance within a large business or shared-service setup., • Comfortable with large data-sets, able to interpret data into actionable insights for non-finance staff., • Ideally qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) — but experience speaks loudest., • Confident communicator — equally comfortable with finance & non-finance teams., • Strong working knowledge of SAP and financial reporting systems., • Track record of process improvement & systems transformation.
