Electro-Mechanical Production Engineer 40k to 46k DOE Are you an Electro-Mechanical Production Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment? Our client is a global market leader and they’re looking for a talented Electronic Production Engineer to join our growing team at our global headquarters in Greater Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping how our products are designed, built, and industrialised for customers worldwide. The Role of the Production Engineer; As an Electro-Mechanical Production Engineer, you will work at the heart of their manufacturing operation, collaborating with UK and international colleagues to: • Improve electrical and mechanical designs for manufacture, quality, and cost, • Support the introduction of new products into high-volume production, • Drive continuous improvement across processes, tooling, and assembly, • Resolve production issues using structured, data-driven problem-solving techniques, • Influence design for manufacture and automation from early development stages You’ll operate in a reactive, high-volume environment, where your ideas and expertise will have a direct impact on efficiency, quality, and performance. Key Responsibilities of the Production Engineer; • Manufacture and support electro-mechanical assemblies in a high-volume production environment, • Apply structured problem-solving methods such as 5 Why, 8D, and Root Cause Analysis, ensuring systemic corrective actions are implemented, • Collaborate closely with Engineering Development, Manufacturing, and International teams, • Support and enhance assembly automation and sensor-based electronic systems, • Use PLM and CAD tools to manage product data and manufacturing changes, • Drive Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen initiatives to continuously improve processes About You They’re looking for someone who combines technical excellence with a practical, hands-on mindset.
