As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support a pupil's academic, social, and emotional needs. The role requires a calm, consistent, and nurturing approach to help the pupil engage with learning, manage behaviour, and build confidence within the classroom environment. Key Responsibilities: • Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with ADHD and Autism., • Implement personalised strategies to support focus, engagement, and emotional regulation., • Adapt learning activities to meet the pupil's individual needs., • Promote positive behaviour and support social interaction., • Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and external professionals., • Monitor progress and provide feedback to support ongoing development., • Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times.Requirements:, • Experience supporting children with Autism and/or ADHD., • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach., • Understanding of behaviour management strategies and SEN support techniques., • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
