Take the lead with La Squadra as SUPERVISOR & ASSISTANT MANAGER in Dublin 🇮🇪 With Big Mamma's rapid expansion, we are looking for our next rising stars to join us at Gloria Osteria (41 Westmoreland St, Dublin)and play a key role on the floor. You will report to the Front-of-House Manager and embody our values of excellence, meritocracy, entrepreneurship, and authenticity in the restaurant every day. Your areas of responsibility: Responsible for service quality • Ensure excellence, consistency, and speed of service, in line with the Big Mamma vision., • Responsible for welcoming guests. Contribute to the restaurant's performance • Optimize table turnover / service pace and staff efficiency for resetting tables., • Ensure the average check meets targets through staff briefings, sales training requests when needed, performance monitoring of section heads, and individual coaching. Ensure smooth front-of-house operations • Ensure compliance with dining room hygiene standards., • Propose initiatives to control front-of-house labor costs., • Oversee team schedules., • Responsible for orders and stock management (wine, tableware, aprons)., • Responsible for cash handling., • Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment. Responsible for the success of the front-of-house team • Participate in the recruitment process for new hires., • Support the onboarding of new team members., • Coach and support the front-of-house team daily., • Be a key driver of team cohesion and positive working relationships. The team at One Pico are looking for a chef de partie with at least 2 years experience to join our kitchen team. You will be responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen and ensuring the consistent preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes. Key Responsibilities: • Run and manage your designated kitchen section, • Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a high standard, • Ensure mise en place is completed before service, • Maintain consistency, portion control, and presentation, • Support and supervise junior kitchen staff Maintain strict food hygiene and safety standards • Assist with stock control and minimise waste, • Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef during service Requirements: • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to step up, • Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen, • Strong attention to detail and consistency, • Good teamwork and communication skills, • Flexible with shifts, including evenings and weekends What We Offer: • Competitive salary (based on experience), • Staff meals, • Opportunities for career progression, • Supportive and professional kitchen environment, • The restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays
