This position is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, proper revenue recognition, effective internal controls, and driving process improvements. The Finance Manager will interact frequently with both regional and corporate teams, including Accounting (AR/AP/Cost), FP&A, and operations, serving as a financial liaison and resource. The role oversees regional revenues of approximately $20–$25 million. Key Responsibilities: • Serve as a strategic partner to the West Region’s sales and operations teams; offer insights to support business growth and efficiency, • Analyze key financial data and communicate insights to the West Regional Manager and Management Team, • Ensure accurate accounting treatment in alignment with GAAP; identify and implement process improvements, • Support accounting functions including internal controls, revenue recognition, contract compliance, and ERP (Infor) and business intelligence system (Phocas) utilization, • Assist in regional and corporate financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and special projects in collaboration with the Controller, VP of Finance, Director of FP&A, and CFO, • Lead the preparation and maintenance of the Weekly Flash Report, with an emphasis on forecasting 120-day revenue and EBITDA accuracy, • Take direct ownership of financial aspects related to accounts receivable/payable, payroll, inventory, capital expenditures, and internal controls, • Process and manage capital expenditure requests; maintain the fixed asset ledger and track inventory additions to the rental fleet, • Review branch and regional sales, margins, and EBITDA to identify anomalies and discuss findings with the relevant managers, • Ensure adherence to financial processes, review contracts for proper revenue recognition, • Analyze cost center performance against budget, forecast, and prior year data; work with leadership to meet utilization and pricing objectives, • Provide financial support for pricing decisions and contract negotiations, • Review of customer contracts requiring corporate approval, • Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively, • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills, • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including financial modeling, pivot tables, VLOOKUP), PowerPoint, and ERP/CRM systems, • Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team, • Self-motivated, with a proactive approach to business activities, • Located in the Denver, Phoenix, or Los Angeles area, • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, • 3–4 years of relevant accounting experience, • CPA, MBA, or CPA-eligible preferred, • Willing to travel up to 30% of the time, • Knowledge of inventory management, forecasting, budgeting, internal controls, and capital investment evaluation, • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Infor and Phocas preferred, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, • Comfortable working with stakeholders across all levels of the organization
