Description: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a top-notch home and school where 2,000 pre-K through 12th grade students from disadvantaged backgrounds are provided an extra-ordinary cost-free career focused education. This is made possible by the generosity of Milton and Catherine Hershey, who established the school in 1909 and ensured it was fully endowed. Thanks to that foresight, the school has almost 12,000 graduates and is expanding to serve more students. MHS is hiring Flex Transitional Living Assistants (FTLA) to live with and supervise high school seniors in campus residence buildings in Hershey, PA. FTLA’s mentor MHS seniors to ensure they develop the life skills necessary for success post-graduation – whether they are entering post-secondary education, the military, or the world of work. FTLA's prepare students for the challenges they’ll face by role-modeling life skills and teaching self-responsibility, goal setting, planning & prioritization, time management, personal finance, and interpersonal skills - including appropriate dating behavior and managing peer pressure. Other responsibilities include creating and supervising evening & weekend recreational activities, taking students to Sunday chapel services, and collaborating with fellow staff members to continually evaluate and enhance the program. Additionally, FTLA’s provide coverage in MHS’s students homes as needed. This is a year-round position, working a schedule of 9 consecutive days, followed by 3 days off. Compensation includes a minimum annual salary of $48,799 plus a benefits package. Housing & utilities are provided. Up to $2,800 in relocation assistance is available. Job Description Job Summary: Under the direction of the Service Director and Real Estate Manager, the Service Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance, grounds, and housekeeping services to ensure excellent curb appeal and quality of apartment homes and responding to customer service requests. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintenance Services: • Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and janitorial services as assigned, • Assist with maintenance of storage area and maintenance materials, • Perform refurbishing and renovation of apartments per company standards, • Walk the property daily to ensure curb appeal and quality of apartments, • Notify Business Manager of any safety concerns and participate in safety meetings, • Responsible for knowledge of property specific problems such as asbestos, • Assist in snow removal as required, • Perform other duties as required, • Maintain accurate record of all tasks completed, • Customer Service, • Complete all service requests in accordance with company standards, • Available for weekend work, on-call duties, and after-hours emergency service requests, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week as scheduled Must live, or being willing to relocate, within 30 minutes of the property Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent preferred, • CFC Type I & II preferred, 180 days from hire to obtain, • Valid Driver’s License, • At least 1 year of maintenance experience, • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written., • Ability to walk the grounds and apartments, ascend stairs around the property, lift 60 lbs., climb ladders over 10 feet, and perform other general physical activities such as bending, kneeling, pushing, • Sufficient knowledge to thoroughly complete maintenance assessment up to the standards of a Service Technician I #Aionhire

Job Description This position is primarily responsible for addressing resident service requests. Addition responsibilities: maintaining and repairing physical structures of buildings, including electrical and plumbing; repairing/replacing appliances; and maintaining grounds. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Receives written work orders or verbal instructions from supervisor for completion, • Cleans internal areas of buildings, including buffing, dusting, sweeping, and mopping., • Maintains the grounds by picking up trash., • Washes windows., • Empties trash cans and consolidates trash for weekly pickup., • Must possess basic knowledge of hand tools., • Paints interior and exterior walls and trim., • Repairs parking lot and sidewalks with asphalt, cold patching materials, and concrete., • Operates snow removal equipment to maintain parking lots and sidewalks., • Maintains and repairs buildings' plumbing and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts such as switches and fuses., • Repairs or replaces building brick, stone, and concrete., • Maintains and repairs wood parts of buildings., • Replaces worn or damaged parts such as hoses, wiring, and belts, in machines and equipment such as truck, street sweeper, and riding mower., • Assists other departments with moving furniture, appliances and unloading and storing supplies, • If part of on-call rotation, required to respond to all emergency calls onsite within 30 minutes of receiving call., • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
