Job Profile: Experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician Key Responsibilities Unit Make-Ready/Turnover: Preparing vacant apartments for new tenants, including painting, drywall repair, and cleaning. Plumbing: Installing, repairing, and troubleshooting leaks, toilets, faucets, and drain lines. Electrical: Replacing light fixtures, switches, outlets, and performing basic troubleshooting shooting. Appliance Repair: Diagnosing and fixing or replacing refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, and microwaves. Carpentry & General Maintenance: Repairing doors, cabinets, flooring, dry-walling, and hardware installation. HVAC: Performing basic HVAC maintenance (filters, thermostat checks). Preventative Maintenance: Conducting routine inspections of property, systems, and common areas to ensure safety and function. On-Call Emergencies: Responding to after-hours emergency calls (24/7 rotation). Requirements & Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in property maintenance, general contracting, or facility maintenance. Background: Must pass a thorough background check (no criminal record). NO SMOKING Reliability: Proven record of reliability, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ Ibs and work on feet all day. Tools/Transportation: Must have own basic tool set and reliable transportation. References: Verifiable references required. Preferred Skills (Bonus) Certifications: EPA Section 608 (HVAC), Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT). Experience: Prior experience in large multifamily Ability to lift 50+ Ibs and work on feet all day. Tools/Transportation: Must have own basic tool set and reliable transportation.
