American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in New York, New York. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: CT Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Duration: 8 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 10 hours, • Work in a specialty orthopedic hospital setting with rotation across inpatient, outpatient, ER, and Adult ICU departments, • Caseload of up to 20 patients per shift, with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, • Duties include both CT and X-ray exams such as extremities, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, musculoskeletal, and specialized CT procedures like brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction, • Use of Siemens equipment preferred and portable imaging required, • Initial 2 weeks training schedule Tuesday to Friday, 8:30AM–6PM; regular schedule following training is Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 2:30PM–Midnight (4x10 hour evening shifts), • Epic EMR experience is preferred but not required, • Scrubs provided in charcoal grey, • Perform a variety of orthopedic CT and X-ray examinations for both inpatients and outpatients, • May rotate across multiple departments or the affiliated private facility, • Team-oriented environment with structured support during orientation, • First-time travelers are welcome to apply, • Must provide two managerial professional references for consideration, • No more than 5 days of requested time off allowed, with no RTO during the first 2 weeks of assignment, • Previous permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler, • Local candidates are accepted at the same rate, • Assigned free parking in employee garage is provided upon badge pick-up\n \n Requirements\n, • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a CT Technologist with both CT and X-ray procedure skills, • Active NY license required at time of consideration; license required if applicable, • BLS, ARRT, DOH NYS, and IV certification required, • Ability to lift, push, pull, or move patients and equipment in excess of 150 pounds, with or without assistive devices, • Must be able to work with a variety of patient age groups, including pediatrics through geriatrics, • Epic charting experience preferred, • COVID-19 vaccination required with no exceptions\n Benefits\n, • High Pay and Bonuses, • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options, • 401(k) Plan, • Weekly Payroll Deposit, • Free Online CEUs, • Generous Housing Allowance, • Travel and Licensure Reimbursements, • Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
