Description The Department of Pathology at the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University is seeking a Surgical Pathologist to serve both as the Chief of Bone and Soft Tissue Pathology and as an attending surgical pathologist. Other senior level administrative opportunities in Surgical Pathology may also be available, depending on the candidates interests and qualifications. Faculty rank will be commensurate with experience and academic record. Required Qualifications: MD, DO (or foreign equivalent). American Board of Pathology board eligible or certified in Anatomic Pathology. Eligibility for New York State licensure. Strong diagnostic skills and the potential to serve as an outstanding educator of medical students, pathology residents, and clinical fellows. Evidence of motivation and interests in research or other scholarly endeavors in Pathology. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Fellowship training in bone and soft tissue pathology. In lieu of fellowship training, equivalent experience in bone and soft tissue pathology will be considered. Board certification or experience in other areas of surgical pathology, potentially including but not limited to gynecologic, breast, genitourinary, head and neck, pulmonary, pediatric, and/or perinatal pathology. Job Description RiseWell Community Services is looking for a full-time Community Residence Program Supervisor to join our team! This individual will assist the Program Manager in all aspects of program supervision, management and development of a licensed residential program that provides transitional housing to individuals with psychiatric disabilities. An essential part of the RiseWell staff, our Program Supervisor will also be responsible for overseeing documentation, monitoring the development and implementation of services, and work directly with staff to ensure that our programs meet the evolving needs of our community. RiseWell’s Residential Services provide those in recovery from serious mental illness a safe, reliable home with on-site support. Our Residential team assists participants with an array of services aimed at supporting their recovery and improving their quality of life. Services include medication monitoring, skill-building development, symptom management, socialization, transportation training, connections to psychiatric and medical services, and more.
