Our Baristas are responsible for knowledge of the store's coffee program and providing an exceptional customer experience by performing the following duties. Responsibilities • Learning, understanding, and being able to speak knowledgeably about the company and the coffee program, • Knowing and being able to speak about all coffees served in the shop including but not limited to the coffee's components, history, and how to brew those coffees, • Operates coffee brewing equipment, grinders, scales, timers, water towers, point of sale systems, and mobile payment system, • Restocks all areas of store including coffee bar, condiment cart, back room, basement, mezzanine, second floor, and bathroom, • Attends tastings for all new single origins, • Learning and perfecting latte art, • Provides guests with a memorable experience, • Responsible for taking guest orders and ensuring a complete and accurate order, • Responsible for working in a high volume environment where efficiency, service, and quality must be maintained - crafts each drink with care, • Receives deliveries and checks for quality of items delivered as well as accuracy of delivery based on invoice, • Keeps store clean, stocked, and organized including but not limited to pastry case, condiment station, merchandiser, grab and go refrigerator, bathroom, and walk-in refrigerator
