Job Description Job Title: HVAC Service Manager Job Description As an HVAC Service Manager, you will be responsible an in office role managing a a service department for a top HVAC contractor. While this is an in-office position we are seeking someone with field and management experience. Time will also be spent out in the field with clients and the field team. Responsibilities Supervise, train, and mentor HVAC service technicians to maintain high standards of performance and professionalism. Manage daily service operations, including job scheduling, dispatch, and resource allocation. Ensure timely, accurate, and effective completion of service calls and maintenance contracts. Develop and implement safety procedures, quality control standards, and compliance with industry regulations. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to technicians in the field. Oversee customer service activities, addressing escalated issues, and maintaining strong client relationships. Track and analyze service department performance metrics (response times, job completion rates, profitability). Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for the service department. Maintain accurate records of service activities, warranties, and inventory. Collaborate with sales and installation teams to identify opportunities for growth and cross-service. Essential Skills Experience with HVAC mechanical systems and maintenance. Knowledge of HVAC service contracts and procedures. 8-10 years of experience OSHA 30 and EPA universal preferred Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hauppauge, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
