    POSITION OVERVIEW The counselor will provide assessment, counseling, advocacy, and referral services to child witnesses of gender-based violence and survivors of teen dating violence. They will work with the clinical team to provide holistic, trauma-informed, survivor-centered clinical services. They will utilize a trauma-informed approach to promote clients’ rights and provide services in a manner that emphasizes safety, respect, and dignity. They will provide strength-based guidance and work to resolve the impact of gender-based violence in their young lives. RESPONSIBILITIES -Complete clinical assessments and treatment plans; -Provide mental health services for children and teens (from 0-21 years old) including short term individual counseling and crisis intervention with individuals and their families; -Collaborate with staff at other Sanctuary for Families sites to provide holistic services; -Advocate for and assist families/individuals in the negotiation of service delivery system to ensure receipt of appropriate clinical and related services; -Demonstrate competence in evidence-based modalities such as CPP (Child Parent Psychotherapy) and TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy); -Develop effective relationships with children and families; -Facilitate appropriate clinical groups for clients, including, but not limited to, parenting skills groups; -Participate in team and agency meetings, individual supervisory meetings, case conferences and other meetings as requested; -Complete all appropriate paperwork, including case notes and reports, in a timely manner; -Assist with children’s room coverage to support team in providing services to families seeking services; -Conduct outreach and training related to gender based and domestic violence; -Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinical Supervisor; -Provide support and supervision to MSW interns as needed. -Hybrid work requirement with both remote and in-person formats. REQUIREMENTS -LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LCAT, LMFT or similar degree. -A minimum of one (1) year of relevant work experience with victims of domestic violence, including work with children. -Bilingual English and Spanish required. -Experience providing counseling and supportive services to domestic violence survivors and their families required. -Experience facilitating support groups and dynamic community workshops required. -Ability to work flexible hours, a mix of hybrid and remote work, and at least 2 evenings a week. -Interest in working with clients from diverse backgrounds. -Computer literate in Microsoft applications required. Key Responsibilities • Support bartenders throughout service by anticipating and responding to their needs, • Maintain fully stocked bar stations with spirits, wine, beer, mixers, garnishes, glassware, ice, and other necessary supplies, • Prepare and replenish garnishes, juices, syrups, and other bar ingredients as directed, • Maintain adequate ice levels throughout service and replenish ice as needed, • Restock beer, wine, spirits, mixers, and other beverage products throughout the shift, • Retrieve and organize bottles, supplies, and equipment from storage areas, • Assist with opening and closing duties, including bar setup, breakdown, cleaning, and restocking, • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bar, back bar, service areas, and storage spaces, • Collect, wash, polish, and organize glassware and bar equipment as needed, • Remove empty bottles, trash, and other waste promptly and appropriately, • Assist with receiving, organizing, rotating, and storing beverage deliveries, • Monitor inventory levels and communicate low-stock items or shortages to management, • Maintain proper organization of beverage storage areas and ensure products are stored appropriately, • Support bartenders and the beverage team during high-volume service to ensure efficient and seamless operations, • Assist with maintaining proper sanitation and food-safety standards throughout the bar area, • Follow all restaurant policies, procedures, and standards of service, • Comply with all applicable local and state health, safety, and alcohol service regulations, • Communicate effectively with bartenders, servers, managers, and other team members, • Demonstrate professionalism, urgency, and a positive attitude throughout each shift, • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management Qualifications • Previous restaurant, barback, beverage, or hospitality experience preferred, • Previous high-volume or fine dining experience, • Basic knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, cocktails, and bar operations, • Strong understanding of restaurant etiquette and hospitality standards, • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation and allergy protocols, • Strong organizational and time-management skills, • Exceptional teamwork and communication skills, • Ability to anticipate the needs of the bar team and work proactively, • Ability to work efficiently and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment, • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness, • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the organization, • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays Physical Requirements • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, • Ability to frequently bend, reach, lift, carry, and move throughout the restaurant, • Ability to move and lift items up to 50 lbs as needed, • Ability to safely transport cases of beverages, ice, glassware, and other bar supplies, • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment for extended periods of time Compensation Details • Compensation: $17.00 per hour, plus tips, Tip Credit Laws applicable, • Schedule: Full-time and part-time positions available, • Benefits & Perks: Paid Sick Leave, Employee Discounts Additional Information This job description is intended to outline the general nature and responsibilities of the role.
