Job Description The Registered Nurse (RN) for Hope House on Crotona Park (HHCP) is a key member of our residential alternative to incarceration program, providing compassionate, trauma-informed nursing support to the sixteen (16) co-ed residents living within the Hope House residential program – a justice-involved population living with Serious Mental Illness (SMI) and, in many cases, co-occurring substance use disorders. The RN is responsible for medication administration, overseeing medication monitoring procedures, completing physical health assessments and assisting in the oversight of medical-related policies and procedures within the residential setting. The RN will ensure that medical and health-related services are delivered in accordance with New York State licensing standards and within the scope of professional nursing practice. Hope House will have an onsite licensed clinic to provide therapeutic and psychiatric services to residents as part of a multidisciplinary team.
