Job Description JOB-19409 Administrative Assistant The position of Administrative Assistant in the Innovation Policy Unit (IPU) will support the work of IPU and the Research and Innovation Division by assisting with the following: • Performs tracking and monitoring of key program deliverables and reports those metrics to senior leadership., • Manages file structure for Research & Innovation Division and ensures that records are in their appropriate place., • Monitors the Research & innovation Division's shared mailbox for internal and external engagement., • Coordinates the process for the Research & Innovation Division's external engagement program., • Assists with project management tasks as needed to support the Research & Innovation Division's innovation policy activities., • Attends meetings and takes notes as necessary., • Provides briefings and status updates to executive staff and other parties. The candidate must have a minimum of: a. Three years of experience as a project management specialist. b. Five years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook & Word. c. Proof of eligibility to work in New York State. Preferred Skills/Abilities: • Proven strong communication and problem-solving skills., • Telecommuting may be allowable upon discretion of the hiring manager., • DFS does not provide parking, but the office is accessible by mass transit.Company DescriptionEstablished in 2005, Knowledge Builders Inc.
