Job Description SPORTIME owns and operates 18 tennis, pickleball, sports, camp and fitness clubs across NYS, including sites across Long Island, in Westchester, Manhattan, the Capital Region and New Jersey. SPORTIME has 18 facility locations including the iconic Port Washington Tennis Academy, now SPORTIME Port Washington, the largest indoor racket sports facility on Long Island. JOB SUMMARY The Housekeeping staff personnel performs all of the necessary janitorial and maintenance tasks inside the club house, offices, and locker rooms. As needed the Housekeeping staff is also responsible for the daily cleaning and maintaining of the tennis courts. This position also involves all outdoor maintenance of the grounds and surrounding area to the facility. Additional duties may be assigned as they develop. This is a hands-on, full-time or part-time working position, depending on the facility. RESPONSIBILITIES  Maintain a safe, clean and secure work environment  All of janitorial work in and around facility (washing and/or mopping floors, stairs, sidewalks, walls, dusting, vacuuming rugs/upholstery, cleaning glass surfaces, wood panels, sweeping, applying wax to the floor. Restack paper products, soap, shampoo, razors, deodorant, sanitary napkins, and slippers supplies)  Maintain cleanliness of the entrance lobby and hallways, floors and carpeting, furniture, door windows and sills, aerobics room mirrors, staircases, fitness rooms and offices.  Clean, dry and fold towels  Continuously monitor the environment for anything that may be unsafe (trip hazard, leaks, exposed wiring, cracks, etc.) and tell the MOD and the GM  Wipe dust from exit signs, door hinges, emergency lights, clocks and other projects  Refill water coolers on courts  During inclement weather assist in keeping all entrances and walkways clear of water and snow  Change light bulbs and batteries in automatic dispensers  Collect and dispose of trash bags from receptacles  Collect and place for storage: tennis balls and all other equipment used on courts  When needed, assist in court maintenance which includes court sweeping and lines  Abide by SPORTIME policies and procedures.  Uphold safety standards by wearing protective gear when using cleaning supplies, identify and correct tripping a and slipping hazards, bring faulty cleaning equipment issues to the attention of the Maintenance Supervisor and the GM and ensure that all MSDS are up to date and easily accessible. Job Description POSITION OVERVIEW: The Youth Hockey & Fan Development Coordinator will assist in day-to-day operations of the department to grow, diversify and develop the next generation of Devils fans. Duties will include coordinating both on and off-ice programs such as Ball Hockey, School Programs, Learn to Play, Devils Gaming Group (esports), Jersey Girls Hockey Club, Marketing Activations and in-arena youth hockey programs. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE BELOW: • Activate and represent New Jersey Devils Youth Hockey & Fan Development team at in-market events such as youth hockey clinics, ball hockey programming, esports activations, school visits and marketing experiences, • Manage day-to-day operations including all program registrations, scheduling, invoicing, staffing and weekly communications with internal and external stakeholders, • Work alongside ticket sales, partnerships, and game operations to support sponsored programming and special youth hockey ticket offers, • Partner with local hockey facilities, youth hockey associations, leagues, municipalities, school districts, parks and recreation departments, and youth-based organizations to grow the game of hockey both on and off the ice, • Identify new, innovative revenue streams associated with youth hockey, growth initiatives and fan development, • Provide best-in-class coaching and positive learning environments across all youth hockey programs, • Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: • Undergraduate Degree or related years of experience, • USA Hockey certification preferred, • Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, • Organized, thorough, and detail-oriented, • Strong customer service skills as a representative of the New Jersey Devils organization, • This position requires working weeknights and weekends as necessary in addition to normal business hours including attending many Devils home games PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: • 2 years minimum of experience in youth sports related fields, • Previous playing and USA Hockey coaching experience is preferred, • Proficient ice-skating and knowledge of New Jersey Hockey Market preferred WORKING CONDITIONS: Travel Requirements: • Will be required to travel throughout state of New Jersey and must have a valid driver license, • Job will require working weekends when/where applicable, • This position requires the ability to lift to 40 pounds, • This position generally requires that work be performed from the Prudential Center/New Jersey Devils offices, but attendance at events taking place in the arena or offsite, including on weekends and/or holidays, will be required.
