Job Description Traveling Art Teacher - Part-time One River School of Art & Design - Transforming Art Education $25-40 Per Hour Job Description We are recruiting art teachers for early childhood, K-12th grade, and Adults. At One River School our mission is to transform art education. We have 14+ schools across the county and we are now taking our innovative, curriculum, and programming to businesses, community centers, public/private schools, and many more. Teachers are supplied with all curriculum, materials, and supplies that you will take to your teaching locations. We Need: * Art teachers that are able to travel across Bergen, Essex or Union County, NJ to bring One River’s art programs to new communities * Digital Art Teachers for grades 3-adult * Studio Art Teachers Pre-K-Adult Qualifications/ Requirements: * 2+ years of experience teaching art or digital design classes * BFA or BS Art Education or related field * Thoughtful communication skills * A passion for One River School's mission * MUST have reliable means of transportation to get to each location punctually * Based on applicants availability, travel to multiple locations Responsibilities: * Facilitate art lessons provided by One River School for a variety of community spaces at their location (libraries, community centers, after-school programs, retirement communities, camps, etc.) * Must be able to teach weekly sessions that can run from 4-12 weeks * Set up/clean up art lessons at the offsite location * Connect with all students to make for an engaging experience Skills * Understanding of various art media * Organization of project outcomes * Behavior management of groups * Ability to offer differentiated instruction to a variety of students * Ability to offer thoughtful feedback to students * Verbal Communication You will teach one or more of a variety of proprietary classes that include the following subjects: Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Mixed media, Cartooning, Manga, Digital Art, Animation, Design, Street Art…….and more. Job Description Overview Beacon is a successful and national private-equity backed behavioral health company providing residential-based services and supports to children and adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, Severe Mental Illness, Autism, and high-acuity behaviors. Responsibilities Responsibilities/Essential Functions (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Annually, or as needed) • Operate assigned home(s) in a manner that will ensure company goals including meeting or exceeding our home budgets and clinical effectiveness set by the company and/or our customers., • Supports and supervises assigned Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), ensuring each has the training and skills to successfully provide high-quality care., • Maintains assigned home(s) and ensures good working order of all related systems, facilities, and furnishings., • Assign repairs and maintenance duties to staff when possible. Contact the Beacon maintenance department or direct supervisor to address facility maintenance issues., • Assists direct supervisor with contracting for approved services, and direct and evaluate the performance of contractors providing needed services., • Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of assigned home(s) and vehicle(s) by developing daily duties and responsibilities for all employees for each shift., • Communicate daily with direct supervisor., • Manage the on-call responsibilities. Reports on- call hours to direct supervisor as needed., • Responsible for reviewing or sending direct supervisor important topics for monthly home meetings., • Responsible for preparing the meeting room and scheduling staff for meetings., • Build positive relationships with referral sources, government and licensing agencies, and assist in coordinating admissions for individuals served, as needed., • Collaborate with Beacon leadership and various functional areas to improve the quality of operations, compliance, residential care, and employee performance., • Always maintain professional conduct and ensure the same from the home staff when on duty. Qualifications Education & Qualifications: • A minimum of 2 years of college coursework in business, social science, or a related human service discipline strongly preferred. products into point of sale presentations to maximize the number of orientation sessions scheduled and packages sold., • Ensure Personal Training team follows proper procedures in session redemption., • Oversee PT manager in ensuring all components of departmental objectives are satisfied.Operations, • Coordinate and work within club support functions of Fitness, Sales and Marketing, Accounting,
